Tea Towel
This attractive linen tea towel, originally produced in 1998, features line drawings by Ron Smith depicting many of Linlithgow’s distinctive buildings. There are not many left in stock so worth grabbing one while you still can.
It is available from High Street shops or online purchase for £9.00, including delivery.
New Tea Towel
The Linlithgow Civic Trust tea towel is to be given a makeover by local artist Melanie Snedden. The line drawings of Ron Smith will be replaced with a semi-abstract collage of well-known structures around the Royal Burgh generously donated by the artist. Melanie places St Michael’s and the Palace at the top and drops down through such sights as the Avon Aqueduct, the Cross Well and the historic Four Marys and Hamilton’s Land.
Initially available in black printed on white organic cotton, hemmed all round, size: 73 x 50 cm
It will soon be available from High Street shops or online purchase for £10.00, including delivery.
Tote Bag
A practical and versatile bag-for-life made from 10 oz cotton canvas in natural colour, and measuring 42 x 38cm with over-the-shoulder handles, it features the same impressive artwork by Melanie Snedden as the new tea towel.
It will soon be available from High Street shops or online purchase for £8.00, including delivery.
Linlithgow Community Calendar
The Rotary Club of Linlithgow & Bo’ness has yet again published a high-quality fund-raising calendar and half of any money raised through sales via Burgh Beautiful only will be donated to us as a beneficiary. The size is A4, folding out to A3, and the format is in the same, improved borderless style as last year. The calendar includes no less than five photographs by Burgh Beautiful’s convenor, Ron Smith, including images of Burgh Beautiful’s floral displays at the St Michael statue and of Audrey Simpson’s fantastic community garden.
Available to purchase online for £10.00, including delivery.
