Building on 2023's event, which was supported by over 150 townsfolk and visitors, we are hoping for an even bigger turnout this year!

The Perambulation will be led by Liz Park, Provost of the Deacons' Court, supported by flagbearers, halberdiers and the town piper, who will play at each of the march stones.  As before, the walk will start outside St Ninian Craigmaillen Church then follow the line of a recorded boundary of the Royal Burgh and pause at 7 out of the 8 march stones which mark the Parliamentary Boundary established in 1832.

We are planning the usual break for much-needed refreshments at Linlithgow Canal Centre and have again asked the Linlithgow Reed Band to provide the musical accompaniment.

The Linlithgow and Linlithgow Bridge Gala Queen, her Chief Lady, and entourage will be in Rosemount Park to greet the leading party.  The procession will then make its way to Preston Road and onwards to the West Port Hotel where the participants will be presented with a well-earned certificate which will be a new design for 2024.

The leaflet gives full details.
